EVALUATION SYSTEM GUIDELINES

FIRST CALL

The subject will be submitted to a continuous evaluation that will include the following activities: A) Activities and work carried out by each student during the course consisting of case studies and three partial tests that will represent 30% of the student's final grade: A minimum of 6 case studies will be carried out. B) Activities and work carried out by each student during the course consisting of a presentation in class of opinions, comments on judgments or doctrinal studies, 10%. C) A final test that will represent 60% of the total grade. This test will coincide with the date set by the Faculty of Tourism for the June exam. This test will cover the entire syllabus of the subject and will consist of two parts: -a written theory test, consisting of a minimum of 5 short questions and a development question. This will be worth 70% of the exam. -a practical case that the student will solve with the help of the legal texts, will be worth 30% of this exam. Attendance to the test by electronic means will not be admitted. In order to pass the course, it will be necessary to obtain at least a 4 in the theoretical test of the final exam. The final exam will be the same in all groups. Attendance to the final exam is the last exam of the course, regardless of whether the exam is handed in or not. In the event that a student is unable to attend due to being a part-time student or elite athlete, he/she may take the exam directly in June, and his/her final mark will be the one obtained in the exam. The remaining students will only be able to take the final exam if they have followed the continuous assessment, and in this case, the final exam will be counted as 60% of their total mark. OTHER CALLS In the second ordinary call (currently in September) and the following calls, the exam will cover the whole syllabus of the subject and will consist of two parts: -a written theory test, with a minimum of 5 short questions and a development question. This will be worth 70% of the exam -a practical case that the student will solve with the help of the legal texts, which will be worth 30% of this exam. Attendance to the test by electronic means will not be admitted. In order to pass the course, it will be necessary to obtain at least a 4 in the theoretical test of the final exam. Therefore, the grade will be determined by the mark obtained in the corresponding exam, without taking into account the activities and work carried out by the student during the course. OTHER MATTERS Tutorials will be carried out telematically at the scheduled times upon the student's request via e-mail. For part-time students and elite sportsmen and women, the right to recognition of a flexible class attendance regime, which does not negatively affect the student's evaluation process, will be taken into account. Where appropriate, absence from face-to-face classes and, in particular, the marking practices, may be made up by marking work to be done at home. Students will also be able to take a single final exam, which will be face-to-face.
